Finally found the dress! But, no this is not it! My Fiancé is extremely nosey and checks my blog account 😉 so this is just one of the many dresses I tried on. Loved the experience of having my wedding dress on and spinning, laughing, and champagne toasting. I always thought that it would be such a stressful experience trying to find “the one.” Turns out it was the first dress I laid my eyes on! Most people say don't stop at the first dress you try on, even if you absolutely love it, give the others a shot and see how you feel. I loved my first dress so much, but I tried on 9 others and loved those ones too! I decided on the first dress because it reminded me of when I first met my fiancé on the beach in a group of friends. We liked each other instantly and were inseparable from the start and thats the same feeling I got with my dress. 5 years ago I decided to move away from all of my friends and family and move to paradise. I chose Siesta Key, FL for its number one beaches and of course the palm trees! Well, because of this leap now that I am getting married I have to have everyone fly in for my wedding! Picking the venue was by far the most stressful piece of wedding planning. My family wanted the wedding in Boston but my fiancés’ family is all in Virginia. Both amazing places to have a wedding, but the more options we had for a location the more my head started to spin. No matter what people were going to travel, so I decided they should travel to us for our big day! Also, cake testing was a major factor – we need to taste that cake… and 50 others 😉 I narrowed my search down to 2 hours south of where we lived and as I was scrolling through The Knot’s wedding venues, I found THE one!
